PHILOSOPHY FOR THE LADIES

Philosophy for the Ladies provides readers with disciplinary knowledge in “useful pieces of knowledge” to fill the “vacancies” of their minds. The articles covers the topics of zoology, astronomy, and metrology. The serialized essay comprises of a series of short entertaining articles on experimental data with to explain the life cycles of insects. The essays build on one another, with a general introduction followed by specific case studies have a level a specificity that give readers a Linnaeus-like account of animals and human’s plan within the kingdom of God.
